The challenge

Dribling 67 sells custom sports equipment to clubs, schools and distributors. Every quote meant a hand-filled spreadsheet with per-client prices, sizes collected later by phone and a PDF sent over WhatsApp. Price and size errors surfaced at delivery, and the supplier's price list was updated by hand, product by product.

The solution

We built a B2B portal with Laravel and Filament. The catalogue is imported straight from the supplier's price list, each client has their own price list and sees only what applies to them. The quote builder lets the client pick products, colours and quantities, generates a public quote page with link and QR code and an identical PDF. The quote turns into an order, and sizes are filled in online by the client. The admin panel has roles and permissions, and the app runs on shared hosting without a dedicated server.

What the application does

  • Product catalogue with variants, colours, sizes and photos, imported from the supplier's price list
  • Per-client price lists with configurable markups and discounts
  • Quote builder with public page (link and QR) and automatically generated PDF
  • Quote to order conversion and size fill-in by the client
  • Admin panel with roles, permissions and history
  • Runs on shared hosting, with automatic deploy and migrations through a webhook

Context

Dribling 67 is a custom sports equipment supplier in western Romania. Clients are clubs, schools and distributors, each with separately negotiated prices. Quote volume had grown and the manual process could not keep up.

What we built

The first usable version shipped in eight weeks, then features were added in stages with weekly demos. We chose Laravel and Filament for their mature admin panel, which we adapted fully to Romanian, including where official translations are missing.

One important constraint was hosting: the client already had a shared hosting account with no SSH access. We built the application to work there, with PDFs generated in-process, no external services, and deployment through FTP sync plus a webhook that runs migrations.

What followed

The application is used daily. The automated test suite covers the critical flows, from import to PDF, so every change can ship without regressions.
