The challenge

The distributor had the catalogue in Excel and sold by phone and email. Clients, body shops and industrial companies, wanted to order online at any hour with price and stock visible. Three old company domains had to be consolidated into one store.

The solution

We built the store on WooCommerce, with product import from Excel, variants by colour code and packaging, useful filters, online payment and cash on delivery, courier integration for shipping labels and automatic invoicing. The old domains redirect to the new store to keep Google traffic. We trained the team to add products and process orders.

Pricing rules were standard and the client wanted to manage the catalogue alone. WooCommerce was the right choice: mature, familiar, with ready-made integrations for Romanian payment providers and couriers. We invested in speed (caching, optimised images) and in category structure, where organic traffic is won.
