The challenge

The clinic needed a site that patients from Giarmata and Timișoara would find, that explains services and prices clearly and turns visits into bookings. A WordPress site with a generic theme would have been slow and hard to maintain.

The solution

We built the site in Astro, fully static, with a page for each of the seven services and a separate radiology page aimed at referring doctors. The booking form sends the request to the clinic through SMTP, with server-side validation and rate limiting. Structured data (clinic, services, prices, hours) helps Google display it. Fonts are self-hosted, images are responsive WebP.

The approach

We wrote the structure and copy together with the clinic before design, starting from the questions patients ask on the phone. Every service has its own page with what it includes, how long it takes and what it costs, because that is exactly what people search for.

Technical details

Astro 5, no UI framework, a single client script for the form. PHP endpoint for bookings, with configuration separate from code. Deployment through a script that builds, syncs over FTPS and verifies that pages respond.
