The challenge

Small transport companies want to know where their vehicles are, but classic GPS systems require installation in every truck, a subscription per device and multi-year contracts. For a fleet of 5–20 trucks the cost is not justified.

The solution

We built Truck Tracker as our own product: a mobile app for the driver that sends position in the background with low battery use, and a web panel for dispatch with live map, route history, stops and reports. No hardware, no installation, a monthly subscription per company.

What we learned

Truck Tracker was our first own SaaS product and taught us what it means to operate a service, not only deliver it: monitoring, support, recurring billing. That experience went straight into Kilometrix and into client projects.
